The Catholic Community Foundation of Mid-Michigan drew the winners of its BIG Raffle during an event at the diocesan Center for Ministry on Friday, April 22. More than 19,000 BIG Raffle tickets were sold in communities across the diocese and more than $46,000 in proceeds will immediately be distributed to participating Catholic schools and parishes. SAGINAW – Thanks to a generous gift of $10,000 from Catholic Federal Credit Union, the Catholic Community Foundation of Mid-Michigan (CCFMM) was able to provide a $10,000 grant to the Hope Pharmacy Assistance Program of St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation.
On February 24, 2006, Fr. Jeffrey Donner was teaching a class to second year Lay Ministry students for the Diocese of Saginaw. During class, he commented a few times about a backache that wouldn’t go away.
