Letter from Bishop of Saginaw

Welcome to the Catholic Community Foundation of Mid-Michigan Website! I hope you will find the website easy to use and helpful, whether you are looking for ways to contribute to our various ministries or for ways we can be of assistance.

All of us have favorite ministries which, in some way, touch us deeply. This Foundation affords everyone an opportunity to participate in the work of the Church and to share the love and compassion of Christ with those less fortunate. While the current economic environment obviously presents many challenges, it also creates unique opportunities to serve those who are most in need. Whether it is a food pantry that provides meals for the poor, one of our Catholic Schools which offers Christ-based education to our children, or a means of support for seminarians preparing to be effective leaders within the Church, the Catholic Community Foundation of Mid-Michigan is here to help.

You can play an essential role in ensuring that the important ministries of the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw have the resources available to meet their needs. Please consider prayerfully how you can support the Foundation through a sacrificial gift that keeps giving. No gift is too large or too small.

May our Lord bless you and your loved ones and may Mary our Mother watch over you always.

Most Reverend Joseph R. Cistone, D.D.
Bishop of Saginaw
